Math Matters program is a unique opportunity for students in Catholic schools to provide math at an advanced level. Thanks to a gracious gift from the Connelly Foundation, over 80 students from three different schools have the ability to learn math at an accelerated pace.
The program is located and hosted at Maternity B.V.M. It serves two other schools St. Anselm and St Francis DeSales via cyberspace.
The program utilizes the latest technologies to instruct the students, such as iPads, laptops, Smartboard and the Internet.
To participate in this program, a student's Terra Nova score must be above 85 in reading They must also be recommended by their teachers.
