EASTER BASKET RAFFLE The Maternity B.V.M. Alumni Association will be ra fling off an Easter Basket during the lunch periods beginning March 29, cost is 2 for $1. The winning ticket will be pulled on Tuesday, April 4. Students may purchase the tickets during their lunch period.
Congratulations to the 5th Grade Ballroom Dance Team. Monday December 10th they received the gold level at the Dancing Classroom Philly, Colors of the Rainbow Team Match Semi Finals. On Monday December 17th they will compete in the City Semester Finals. Great Job!!!!
Mrs. McDonough was named Teacher of the Month for October. Father Quinter made the presentation at the First Friday School Mass. Mrs. McDonough was introduced with the playing of “Follow the Yellow Brick Road” because one of the things Mrs. McDonough does is direct the annual school play. This year the play will be The Wizard of Oz. Mrs. McDonough teaches Math to 6th 7th and 8th grades.
We have scheduled two Safe Environment training sessions to be held in our Parish Hall (10/11 at 6pm and 11/10 at 10am) for all volunteers who need this. Please spread the word! See the link below...we have 100 spaces for each session.
Mrs. Washburn was named Teacher of the Month on September 14th. Father Quinter made the presentation at the school Mass. Before Father made the presentation he introduced Mrs. Washburn with the playing of Edison Lighthouse's 1970 hit the song "Love grows where my Rosemary Goes" Mrs Washburn has been teaching 32 years and 18 at Maternity B.V.M. Congratulations.
