!My name is Ami Gallagher and I currently teaching 6 ^th to 8th grade Math here at Maternity B.V.M. School.  I have been teaching for 21 years, and this is my 18th year here at B.V.M. Time flies when you're having fun!   In my years in education, I have actually taught at every grade level except 3 ^rd grade - and I have loved every minute of these experiences.  I love building relationships with my students and their families every day...there is simply nothing better than seeing a child succeed and be proud of his/her accomplishments. 

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends.  I have 3 handsome nephews and 5 beautiful nieces who light up my life!  (I'm godmother to 3 adorable girls, too!)  I also love to bake - I find it very relaxing and calming And, of course, you can always find me rooting for my favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles!
